The Optimization Analyst supports Base Operations Support (BOS) contracts by analyzing operational performance, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements that enhance mission readiness and service delivery. This role works across multiple functional areas—including facilities, logistics, environmental services, and infrastructure operations—to ensure contract performance aligns with mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Performance & Data Analysis
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data across BOS service areas.
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Conduct root-cause analyses to address recurring issues or performance gaps.
Process Improvement & Optimization
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.
Support Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
Map workflows and identify bottlenecks or redundancies.
Contract Compliance & Reporting
Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership and government stakeholders.
Assist in developing and tracking corrective action plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with functional managers and government representatives to understand operational needs.
Support planning and execution of operational changes and resource adjustments.
Participate in audits, meetings, and performance reviews as an analytics subject matter expert.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations analysis, performance management, or process improvement.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with performance-based service contracts and federal contracting environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting BOS, Public Works, or installation management contracts.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
Experience with CMMS platforms
Knowledge of DoD installation support processes and standards.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline preferred; two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily on-site within a secure facility area.
Requires walking, standing, and occasional exposure to challenging situations.
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
