Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support.

The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
 
About The Role

Part of the Project Controls Centre of Excellence, the Power BI Developer leads reporting and analytics across the SZC Project. The role delivers high quality performance reporting, develops dashboards and insights, and drives continuous improvement across PMO and delivery programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, publish and schedule Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Translate business requirements into data models aligned with WBS, CBS, and OBS structures.

• Analyse data, identify trends, and produce clear visualisations.

• Deliver digital reporting via SZC’s Data Platform.

• Support monthly reporting cycles with intelligent analysis.

• Produce training materials and deliver user support.

• Perform system configuration, testing and acceptance.

• Liaise with suppliers and SZC IT; build stakeholder relationships.

• Support ongoing development of Project Controls processes.

Here's What You'll Need

Essential Experience & Skills

• Advanced Power BI (DAX, M) and Excel.

• Strong background in reporting for mega projects.

• Ability to design high quality, insight led dashboards.

• Knowledge of Project Controls functions.

• Strong data analytics capability and problem solving skills.

• Excellent communication, design, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in construction or nuclear sectors.

Desirable Experience

• SharePoint configuration.

• Power Apps / Power Automate.

• Data science skills.

• Broader reporting/analytics software knowledge.

• Experience supporting executive level reporting.
