Role Description: 
This function will work under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex tasks within an integrated workforce. They will liaise with stakeholders of all levels, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for all enquiries. In particular looking after and delivering on logistics product management within the ACEASPO Enterprise, and having a knowledge and understanding of how the elements of Logistics work closely alongside Engineering deliverables in the Product management space.

Essential Requirements:

  • Perform complex planning and execution of the Plan to assure delivery of fit for purpose including management of project/product scope, schedules, risks, budgets and resources. Especially knowledge around ERP tranche delivery as ACEASPO moves towards tranche 2 of ERP.
  • Support the Capability Manager with the development and progression of project/product submissions in accordance with One Defence Capability System requirements, e.g. gates, reviews, committees, an example of which would be Logistical based products like ERP or Engineering artifacts.
  • Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration and co-ordination through high stakeholder engagement and strong relationships (building stakeholder engagement between logistical and engineering areas). 
  • Develop, update and maintain required project/product documentation required to govern the project/product, e.g. iPMP.
  • Provision of SME guidance /mentoring to Project/Product team members (an example of which could becoming the main POC for logistical enquiries). 
  • Support the Product Manager through provision of assurance of satisfactory service delivery and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Undertake required Project/Product reporting using applicable management systems, e.g. PPRIP, SPMS.
  • Undertake Risk, Issue and Opportunity identification and management.
  • Having a strong Logistical background, especially with ERP and its uses, but also an ability to be able to bring together Logistical and Engineering teams to understand and operate with each other. 

Desirable Requirements:

  • Timely delivery of tasks from ACS Branch.   
  • Strong Communication Skills   
  • Demonstrated Stakeholder engagement skills.   
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work demand
  • Effective engagement of stakeholders and subject matter experts to facilitate outcomes (e.g. communicating effectively with areas of expertise).   ACEASPO tasks have been actioned in in the expected timeframe and efficient manner.  
  • SPO Director support requests are actioned in in the expected timeframe and a quality output.  
  • Demonstrated understanding of SPO business


Required Security Clearance Level: Active NV1 Clearance.

Location: Amberley QLD. 

Weekly Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week, with options for work from home on Friday's - depending on task requirements
