Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a Program Manager responsible for managing the program within the negotiated level of effort to include overall costs of the program. PM will be required to provide accurate and timely reports, program management reviews, weekly meetings, maintenance of schedules and technical documentation; as well as ensuring delivery of exceptional performance while maintaining positive customer relations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for all aspects of contract execution. The Program Manager will be responsive to and coordinate closely with the United States Government to ensure effective contract management.

  • Direct supervision and leadership of up to 20 employees, including Network Architects, Network Engineers, System Administrators, Cyber Security Systems Engineers, Project integrators, and (possibly) NOC (24/7) shift-worker engineers.
  • Management of various subcontractors
  • Responsible to manage shift schedules and arrange for backfill during PTO/unplanned absences.
  • Leverage opportunities for new business development and seek to expand within current customer base.
  • Responsible for program budgets and costs, program funding and program financial reporting.  Keep expenses and costs within negotiated parameters.
  • Improve cost effectiveness of program.
  • Develop procedures to increase performance by implementing sound quality management processes.
  • Monitors program’s progress against the contract and organizational goals and objectives and ensures they are consistently and adequately met.
  • Provide operational oversight.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the COR and participate in regular COR meetings.
  • Drive customer satisfaction with on-time delivery, exceptional performance, and 100% accountability.
  • Address contractual and technical programmatic issues.
  • Serve as program SME for expert guidance on which projects and procurements are the most critical and most time sensitive.
  • Attend customer meetings to discuss program and contractual issues.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Secure Networking or Cybersecurity Discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Eight or more years of experience as a Program Manager on IT Projects.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing disparately located personnel.
  • Demonstrated, recent experience managing a program delivering IT capabilities and solutions in production, while transitioning to modern and/or efficient technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cost, schedule, and budget of contract against mission requirements and prioritization.
  • Technical understanding of the systems used on the program.
  • Strong familiarization of customer culture.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with poly level clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance.
  • Ability to work within a team structure.
  • Strong communication skills (both written & oral).

       

Compensation Details:

$240,000-$265,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
