Amentum is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support to the Joint Foreign Materiel Program Office (JFMPO).  The Pm will responsible for planning, coordination and assisting in the execution of multiple Captured Materiel Exploitation (CMEC) exercises conducted at varies locations. The PM is responsible for the management of a team working in a mission-focused environment, and delivering results under varying priorities, deadlines, and constraints. The PM will be responsible for managing performance, schedule, quality, and risk to ensure contract requirements/deliverables are met in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The primary location for this position is in Reston, VA.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

  • Administrative: Coordination for exercises and global operations; assist client in coordinating activities, travel, and availability of personnel. Assist in the development of an exercise Operations Order (OPORDs)/Plans for all Captured Materiel Exploitation (CMEC) Exercises IAW the SOW. Assist in developing new or updating existing standard operating procedures (SOPs)  

  • Communication: Create periodic status reports and briefings, maintain activity reports, create, and maintain a phone/email roster of JFMPO personnel points of contact. Document the specific objectives of each exercise, engagement/event, or operational activity assigned. Document the Government's assessment of whether each objective was achieved or not.

  • Exercise & Operational Support: Assist in the management, coordination, planning, organization, control, integration, and execution of CMEC exercises.  Assist in the delivery of goods and expert personnel in support of CMEC exercises and operations when needed. Assist client in planning and executing the safe acquisition, delivery, and exploitation of foreign materiel to CONUS as required by the client.

  • Planning: Assist in the creation of 12-month calendar identifying JFMPO timelines, milestones, and after-action reports (AARs) for CMEC exercises and other planned activities. Draft contingency plans for alternative mission scenarios; create and maintain, CMEC exercises and other planned activities.

  • Deployments: Support/coordinate the deployment of DOD and/or contract personnel under this SOW and support deployment mission manager activities and requirements.

  • Accountability: Responsible for supervising and maintaining the offsite facility and the accountability of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) IAW the SOW.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7-10 years’ experience supporting or conducting operations within the Foreign Materiel Enterprises

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and ability to pass a CI Polygraph

  • PM must have Foreign Materiel (FM) operational support experience

  • Two years of program management experience managing cost, schedule, and performance requirements

  • Must have exceptional Microsoft Suite skills

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and align cross-project activities

  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a dynamic environment through situational analysis and informed decision making

  • Experience in the planning and execution of JFMPO events, exercises, seminars

  • Travel estimated at 30-40% of the time both CONUS and potentially OCONUS

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Specific experience in OCONUS FM operational support

  • Prior DOD experience as Battalion Operations Officer/NCO or higher

  • PMP certification

       

Compensation Details:

130,000 - 140,000
