We are seeking a Program Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Alice Springs. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can operate across both operational and strategic aspects of the program. As a central figure within the PMO, you will work closely with senior leadership and Area Managers to support program alignment, performance visibility, and the effective delivery of program outcomes. As Program Operations Manager, you will:
1. Coordinate Operational Excellence:
• Collaborate with Program Support Managers, Area Managers, and senior leadership to drive alignment of operational workflows and ensure seamless program execution.
• Coordinate planning of program activities, team meetings, and strategic initiatives to maintain alignment with program priorities.
• Proactively monitor and ensure delivery of program milestones and deliverables, with clear ownership, timelines, and accountability.
2. Deliver Consistent Reporting & Insights:
• Collect, analyze, and deliver program performance data, operational metrics, and workforce analytics as clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Support development of tools and dashboards to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the program.
• Partner with the PMO to ensure reporting requirements are met, with consistent visibility for senior leadership and stakeholders.
3. Support Program Documentation and Presentations:
• Develop and maintain program documentation, including process overviews, standard operating procedures, and organizational structures.
• Prepare and present high-quality presentations, reports, and materials to support internal stakeholders, corporate reporting requirements, and broader program engagement activities.
4. Enable Resource & Workforce Planning:
• Work closely with talent acquisition and workforce planning teams to align resources to program priorities.
• Monitor workforce capacity, identify gaps, and provide insights into leave forecasts, resourcing constraints, and proposed solutions.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure resources, tools, and materials are available to meet operational requirements.
5. Strengthen Program Operations and Efficiencies:
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, processes, and program coordination.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and governance activities, ensuring alignment with program standards and requirements.
6. Foster Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as a key point of coordination between Functional Area Managers, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Build strong working relationships across the program and provide a reliable, customer-focused point of contact for program activities.
• Support broader stakeholder engagement across the program, including participation in external meetings, networking opportunities, and program-related engagements where required.
7. Promote Safety, Accountability, and Quality:
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and quality across the program.
• Support compliance with operational, safety, and quality standards in line with Amentum requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree: In Business, Management, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant Certifications: A strong preference for candidates with certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma (or willingness to achieve certification within 6 months).
• Experience in Program Operations: Demonstrated experience in program operations, project coordination, or similar roles within complex, program-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
• Proven ability to develop reporting, analyze data, and provide insights to support program performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience supporting workforce planning, resource allocation, or working with cross-functional teams.

Security Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph (U.S.).
