Amentum is seeking an enthusiastic Program Scheduler to join the team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing schedules for all projects in the Annapolis Junction Office.
  • Providing critical path analysis, identifying problem areas, and creating work-around solutions.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly reports for internal and external clients.
  • Advising the team on matters affecting project success, schedule and cost impacts, and developing project recovery plans.
  • Being a participant in project management teams to assist in meeting project deadlines.
  • Developing and maintaining a change management program.
  • Identifying out of scope work items and assisting in creating change order requests to be presented to client, including estimated cost and schedule impacts.
  • Reviewing and recommending action on change order claims from subcontractors.
  • Within area of responsibility, consistently identifying potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner, analyzing the issues using all appropriate resources, developing alternatives and arriving at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.
  • Interfacing with internal project teams and external clients.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred - Bachelors degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 2+ years of experience in the Construction Industry or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred - Scheduling Software Experience (ie. MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.)
  • Required - High Level of Computer Proficiency (ie. MS365 Suite)
  • Required - US Citizenship
