Amentum is seeking a Project Management Analyst to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division’s Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Systems Integration Team in Dahlgren, VA. This position will support the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of E3 projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with program objectives, schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
Project Management Analyst Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with overseeing and coordinating all phases of the E3 project portfolio to ensure alignment with project and program goals.
- Review the planning, development, and integration of individual projects and initiatives to accomplish E3 objectives.
- Coordinate E3 objectives with sponsor timelines, initiatives, program plans, project plans, strategies, and functions.
- Apply project management best practices and quality standards to support effective program execution.
- Manage and track project tasks, schedules, activities, deadlines, and resource requirements.
- Develop and track spend plans, procurement activities, future resource needs, and investments.
- Monitor technical, cost, and schedule performance and communicate findings to technical representatives, program management, and customers.
- Provide project status updates, recommendations, and other information necessary to support program decision-making.
- Prepare and present informal and formal reports, briefings, and recommendations during team-level meetings and to senior civilian and military personnel.
- Collaborate with civilian, military, contractor, and government personnel to identify and resolve project issues and monitor project performance.
- Participate in the development and briefing of project reviews.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) years of experience performing administrative and financial management activities, including resource planning, project scheduling, budgeting, manpower planning, and financial reporting.
- Experience using Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including task coordination, schedules, resource management, and required programmatic documentation.
- Ability to work independently and professionally interface with government agencies, contractors, military personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start). Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Microsoft Project Orange Belt 2016 certification.
Compensation Details:
$70000
