Role Title: Pricing and Costing Expert

Role Description: DDG’s Commercial Division in CASG, Commercial and Financial Analysis (CFA) are seeking to engage one external contractor in the Air domain to support large priority activities for the team for FY 26/27.

Essential Requirements:

Experience in the following:
* Development of RFT documentation as they relate to the Pricing and Costing through negotiations and into contract formation.
* Performing contract reviews and financial audits to evaluate supplier financial information and contractual compliance.
* Assessing the financial impacts of contract variations and change requests, including detailed analysis of cost and pricing submissions.
* Advising project and program teams on complex commercial, costing, and financial matters to support strategic decision-making.
* Building team capability through knowledge sharing, guidance, and professional development support for emerging analysts.

Demonstrable ability to share knowledge with customers and stakeholders

Demonstrability ability to deliver the following:
* Pricing and costing review outcomes highlighting areas of deviations from contractual terms and conditions and Defence policy, identify key financial risks and make recommendations for improvement.
* Pricing models, and tender documentation to support procurement activities, including the development and maintenance of pricing and costing content within ASDEFCON contract templates.
* Financial assessments of proposed contract amendments and variations, incorporating evaluation of cost impacts, review against Defence Cost Principles and CASG Profit Principles, validation of supporting assumptions, and provision of evidence-based recommendations to support decision-makers.
