We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Systems / Electrical Engineer with FPGA expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide FPGA assurance support to systems of record for the U.S. Navy and Department of War.  The candidate should be able to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to interface with program offices, guide project status and tracking efforts, and assist and instruct program offices how to manage technical efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform FPGA design, simulation, and synthesis
  • Perform Verification and Validation of performer capabilities
  • Develop Government off the Shelf (GOTS) FPGA Assurance capabilities.

Deliverables include:

  • Synthesized Bitstreams
  • Management of Verilog Source Code repositories
  • Development of Testbench Simulation Reports, V&V Reports/Matrices, and FPGA Assurance capability source Code and Releases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer  Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of hands-on experience with FPGA design, simulation, and synthesis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications / Technical Skillset

  • Hardware Familiarity: Xilinx/AMD (e.g., Zynq, Ultrascale/Ultrascale+); Intel/Altera (e.g., Stratix, Agilex); Microchip and Lattice Technologies; QuickLogic FPGAs
  • Software/Languages: Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog; Experience with Vivado Design Suite or Intel Quartus; Python, RUST or C/C++ for test automation and scripting.
  • Eight (8) years' experience with FPGAs.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in Reverse Engineering, Common Bus Protocols, Binary Analysis, and JTAG.

Work Location: The position requires on-site presence in a state-of-the-art lab facility working with physical test equipment, closed networks, and secure hardware components

       

Compensation Details:

$120K-$140K
