Amentum is looking for a Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) Supply Technician. The Supply Technician is accountable for data entry, product retrieval, and issuance, as well as ensuring accurate physical receiving, transferring, issuing, and inventory management of SWFTS material. This role will make recommendations concerning inventory improvement while providing professional customer service to internal and external clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support Submarine Alteration Installation Team (AIT), TSRA, WSRA, and FTA efforts as directed by MARMC Code 273.1.
Support Submarine LAN TSRA, WSRA, and FTA efforts as directed by MARMC Code 273.2.
Support Submarine AN-BQQ-10, TSRA, WSRA, and FTA efforts as directed by MARMC Code 272.
: Support Submarine AN-BYG-1 Alteration Installation Team (AIT), TSRA, WSRA, and FTA efforts as directed by MARMC Code 271.
Onboard technical assistance in support of logistics related audits, inspections, assessments, and other database reviews. Resolve discrepancies and provide reports. Support fleet logistics assistance requests. Update and maintain logistics database files. Update ship’s configuration files by processing work files to the Configuration Data Manager (CDM). Maintain and inventory technical support logistical products. Drive and operate a forklift Be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
Minimum Requirements:
EDUCATION: No requirement specified.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Six (6) years of full‑time experience in submarine fleet logistics support including experience in the fleet introduction, installation, and test, operation, and life cycle support of electrical, or electronics systems and equipment. Experience in evaluating the material condition of ship systems and implementing corrective action.
Four (4) years on-board supply experience
Submarine CASREP requisition
Submarine inventory management
Navy procurement and provisioning procedures
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of full‑time experience in Navy ILS and system life cycle support areas. This experience shall include each of the following Navy ILS components listed below in support of a submarine or naval ship, electrical, or electronics system:
DoD and/or Navy supply support systems
TYCOM supply support directives, standards, and documentation
Afloat supply procedures
Navy supply system organizations
R-Supply/OMMS-NG supply procedures and operations
Maintenance planning
Test equipment support
Technical logistical data
Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation
Configuration management
Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
Compensation Details:
$22.00 - 28.00
