Position Title: Timecard Administrator

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time

Description of Duties:

The Timecard Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile labor discrepancies.
  • Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
  • Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
  • Collect and distribute timecards and labor hours on a weekly basis.
  • Verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefit earning codes such as military leave, jury duty, and medical leave of absence.
  • Prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile teammate, subcontractor and issued payrolls to posted labor and General Ledger.
  • Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts as needed.
  • Train employees on organizations' timekeeping systems and processes.
  • Conduct internal timekeeping audits; prepare documentation and support external audits as required.
  • Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality information to the leadership team.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the manager.

  • Have advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of adhering to company policies/procedures and workflow processes.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to adjust to shifting work priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight.
  • Display responsiveness, flexibility, organization, and detail oriented.
  • Be able to perform tasks successfully with minimal oversight within short timelines.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years of directly related experience in an administrative or finance role.
  • Must have a general understanding of standard accounting principles.
  • Must have a basic understanding of timekeeping and payroll concepts.
  • Must have experience performing data analysis using spreadsheets and relational database programs.
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs for large volumes of data.
  • Operating standard office equipment including proficiency in computerized accounting systems.
  • Analytical skills, ability to dig into the details and provide recommendations.
  • Must have an understanding of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
  • Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Compensation Details:

$31.25 – $36.05
