About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Work Pack Coordinator on the Hinkley Point C project.

The role of the Work Pack Coordinator will report to the Construction Manager and support the site Construction team by ensuring work is properly planned, documented, and delivered safely and efficiently.

The candidate will be required to work in line with the Amentum construction team's working rotation. This consists of 10 days on site and a four day weekend, starting on a Tuesday and finishing the following Thursday.

The candidate will receive overtime and weekend pay rates in line with the site ESCA agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development, review and approval of Work Packs in line with project requirements.

  • Ensure all Work Packs contain accurate RAMS, drawings, permits and supporting documentation prior to issue.

  • Liaise with Construction Managers, Engineers, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness of work fronts.

  • Maintain alignment with programme requirements, ensuring Work Packs are delivered ahead of schedule.

  • Monitor progress of issued Work Packs and provide feedback on completion status and constraints.

  • Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, HPC site procedures and company standards.

  • Support safe systems of work by verifying permits, isolations and logistics arrangements are in place.

  • Engage with site teams, planners and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain workflow continuity.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • HNC / HND or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).

  • Experience working within a construction or engineering project environment, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Demonstrable experience in Work Pack development, coordination, or document control processes.

  • Understanding of permit-to-work systems, RAMS, and construction sequencing.

  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and safe systems of work.

  • Experience in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries (desirable).

  • Strong IT skills, including document management systems (e.g. EDMS, SharePoint, BIM tools).

  • Excellent organisational, communication and coordination skills with attention to detail.

Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
