Amentum is seeking an Advanced Mission System Operator to conduct realistic Electronic Warfare Threat to Air Operations (EW TTAO) training through the operation of various fixed, mobile and man portable EW TTAO systems to meet customer unit(s) receiving training Desired Learning Objectives (DLOs), requested US/NATO/potential adversary force tactics, and specific timing requirements.

Under direction of the scenario controller or associated exercise Liaison Officer (LNO), the advanced mission system operators personally operate the more advanced EW TTAO threat systems and direct/lead subordinate mission system operators’ employment of EW TTAO threat systems. The position is located in the vicinity of Ramstein AFB/Pirmasens, Germany.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct real-time kill removal/magnum evaluation (or High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) assessment when it comes to GBAD).

  • Simultaneously operate multiple EW TTAO threat systems in automated and semi-automated modes.

  • Reconfigure EW TTAO threat system automated response logic to target maneuvers/electronic attack (i.e. Chaff, Flares, and Jamming) in order to meet customer unit(s) receiving training DLOs.

  • Instruct subordinate mission system operators on EW TTAO threat tactics and employment methods to meet customer unit(s) receiving training.

  • Execute the tactical scenario directed by the scenario controller or associated exercise LNO as both technical and tactical experts.

  • Operate more advanced EW TTAO systems (single in manual mode and multiple in automated/semi-automated modes), instructing the subordinate mission system operators on proper EW TTAO system operations and tactical employment, and leading multiple element EW TTAO firing units in order to meet customer unit(s) receiving training DLOs.

  • Know and be able to communicate EW TTAO systems capabilities and limitations in their ability to replicate real world threat systems (GBAD and Integrated Air Defense System) capabilities/tactics in order to meet customer unit(s) receiving training DLOs.

  • Maintain familiarity with current and developing S/NATO/potential adversary force capabilities/tactics.

  • ​Execute a tactical scenario or associated exercise as both technical and a tactical expert. 

  • Operate JTE and maintain familiarity with current and developing US/NATO/potential adversary force capabilities/tactics. 

  • Report to designated leadership.

  • Maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

  • Complying with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. 

  • Adhering to company and government processes, regulations, and statutes.

  • Be available within 2 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel to discuss problem areas.

  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned to include Technical Maintenance support as needed

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience (see preferred experience).

  • Requires at least two (2) years Electronic Warfare (EW) range operations experience.

  • Requires experience providing excellent customer service in support of contract responsibilities.

  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Requires solid computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and passport.

  • DOD Secret clearance required and be eligible for NATO Secret Indoctrination. Applicants selected must currently possess a Secret clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Must maintain clearance during employment.

  • United States Air Force (USAF) Air Battle Manager (ABM) Instructor.

  • U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officers (ADAFCO) Instructor.

  • JT-220 Link Unit Manger (LUM) certification.

  • Electronic Warfare Threat to Air Operations (EW TTAO).

  • Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD).

  • Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS).

  • High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM).

  • Previous work experience in an OCONUS environment.

  • MOS 14H, 14A 14E or 140K or similar

  • AFSC 1C871 or 1C571 or similar

  • ICADS Individual Air Combat Training System

  • RADS Range Air Space Display

  • DIADS Digital Integrated Air Defense Simulator

  • Patriot Systems Operator

  • IADS Integrated Air Defense System

  • THAAD Terminal High Altitude Area Defense
