Aircraft Planner

Amentum is seeking a PMI Aircraft Planner for Rota, Spain. You will be responsible for coordinating with the Site Lead, Maintenance Control Advisor/DSL, Evaluator & Estimator, and Quality Assurance to schedule, track and reporti compliance while ensuring the timelines are being scheduled and met and making suggestions to leadership in reference to process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

10 years current or previous experience performing aircraft production control, maintenance scheduling, and planning duties on U.S. Navy and Spanish Navy MH-60R/S, including but not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) work packages in accordance with the MH-60 Integrated Maintenance Plan (A1-H60-IMP-000).

• Coordinating with Maintenance Control and Quality Assurance to sequence, track, and report aircraft maintenance milestones, ensuring compliance with established turnaround times (120 days PMI-1N / 135 days PMI-2N).

• Managing digital maintenance and production databases to monitor resource utilization, man-hour forecasting, and material readiness; leveraging Microsoft Excel and other data analytics tools to optimize planning efficiency.

• Reviewing technical directives, maintenance manuals, and discrepancy logs to determine repair scope and develop integrated schedules.

• Preparing and issuing work orders, daily production status updates, and reports to the Site Lead, COR, and Government representatives.

• Interfacing with squadron maintenance personnel, ensuring effective prioritization of O-level tasks supporting PMI completion.

• Performing trend and variance analysis of aircraft availability, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending data-driven corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

• May include collateral duties as Database System Administrator, Technical Publications Coordinator, or Maintenance Metrics Analyst.

• Serve as alternate Evaluator and Estimator in the event assistance is required.

• Maintain certification as a Quality Assurance Representative
