Amentum is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Analyst to support hard services operations at the assigned site. This individual contributor role is responsible for planning, scheduling, analysis, and reporting activities that support the safety, reliability, and efficient execution of maintenance and operational work. 
 
The Planning & Scheduling Analyst provides functional support for maintenance planning, prioritization, execution tracking, documentation, and reporting. The role works under general direction of site leadership and collaborates closely with the Hard Services Manager, maintenance teams, and client stakeholders to support compliance with contractual requirements, site priorities, and Amentum operational standards. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

Planning & Scheduling Support 

  • Develop, maintain, and update preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance schedules. 
  • Support planning readiness for shutdowns, outages, and critical operational events. 
  • Analyze schedule performance, identify variances, and support corrective action development. 
  • Support scope control and change management activities related to schedule impacts. 
  • Apply CPM, earned value, and basic project controls principles. 

Maintenance Systems & CMMS 

  • Maintain accurate planning, scheduling, and work order data within CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo). 
  • Support work order sequencing, backlog management, and prioritization. 
  • Collect and validate data for schedule baseline development and updates. 

Reporting & Metrics 

  • Prepare schedule performance reports and dashboards. 
  • Support monthly operational and client reporting. 
  • Assist with KPI tracking related to schedule adherence and backlog health. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support 

  • Participate in planning and scheduling meetings. 
  • Coordinate with materials management, construction, commissioning, and operations. 
  • Interface with client representatives as required. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s (Licentiate preferred) degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field. 
  • Four (5-10) years of experience in planning and scheduling for maintenance or construction environments. 
  • Level C1 or higher English proficiency. 
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

Work Conditions & Additional Requirements 

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred. 
  • Position is 100% onsite; remote work is not eligible. 
  • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security access credentials. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment. 
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Repetitive wrist movement required. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and computer screens. 
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment. 
  • Ability to attend meetings throughout the site. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in individual and group settings. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability to move light to medium-weight materials. 
  • Ability to interact professionally during periods of stress. 

Safety & Special Requirements 

  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 
  • Ability to cope with job-related demands and stressors. 
  • Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. 
  • Experience with CMMS platforms; Maximo preferred.
