Amentum is seeking a Carpenter, Minor Construction, LEAD to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission on Andros Island, Bahamas. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform facilities repairs and replacements to include roofing, walls, siding, doors, windows, flooring and tiling.

• Perform concrete and block work to include excavations forming, batching and pouring concrete.

• Fencing repairs and replacements.

• Use various hand and power tools.

• Track and maintain materials, equipment and time keeping.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience in construction and/or maintenance.

• Ability to successfully lead a crew of 5 in daily completion of work orders and scheduled projects.

• Background in facilities maintenance and construction.

• Strong understanding of building components and repair techniques.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing and working in various conditions.

• Adhering to safety protocols, procedures and guidelines, company policy and procedures.

• Proper use of hand and power tools and personal protective equipment.

• Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.

• A valid U.S. passport and driver's license is required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Class A or B CDL license preferred.
