About the Opportunity
Our Engineering and Technical Services team is supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure upgrades within a secure and nationally important defence environment. We are seeking an experienced CS&A Senior Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership and site-based engineering support across a portfolio of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) installation projects.
Acting as the focal point for Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering activities, you will work closely with multidisciplinary design, construction and client teams to develop safe, practical and compliant engineering solutions. Responsibilities will include assessing existing structures, supporting construction delivery, resolving site-based engineering challenges, and providing assurance for structural modifications, support systems and installation interfaces.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure capability, applying your technical expertise to complex engineering challenges while working within a collaborative and highly regulated project environment.
Here’s What You’ll Need
- Experience delivering Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering solutions within infrastructure, defence, nuclear, energy or similarly regulated sectors.
- Demonstrable capability undertaking structural assessments, calculations and design verification activities.
- Experience designing or assessing steelwork, bracketry, support systems and ancillary structures associated with building services or MEP installations.
- Working knowledge of relevant British Standards, Eurocodes and engineering assurance processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information to a range of stakeholders.
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering, with Security Check (SC) Clearance highly desirable.
