For our team in Krakow we are seeking a Document Control Manager/ Kierownik/ Kierowniczka Zespołu ds. Obiegu Dokumentów.

About the Role 

The Document Control Manager plays a dual role: leading Amentum’s integrated delivery (IDS) document control team and delivering client-facing document management solutions on projects. You will be responsible for building and implementing document control frameworks for new projects, ensuring compliance with standards, client requirements and supporting successful project delivery in highly regulated sectors such as nuclear and energy.
This position combines team leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on project involvement, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise Amentum’s document control team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.

  • Deliver client-facing document control solutions for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Build and implement document control frameworks for new projects, including standards, processes, and reporting structures.

  • Accountable for team performance and results within the document control function.

  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and supply chain to ensure timely document delivery and accessibility.

  • Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and stakeholders on document control best practices.

  • Monitor and report on document control performance metrics to senior management and clients.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in document control processes and tools.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Quality & Accuracy: High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications - External

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in document control or information management roles, including supervisory responsibilities.

  • Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, energy, or similar) is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in EDMS platforms and Microsoft Office 365 tools.

  • Proven project-wise experience managing document control across multiple projects or large-scale programs.

  • Fluent spoken and written English (B2 level or higher).
