Role Title: Enterprise Program Risk Specialist

Role Description: Risk Manager/Officer  

Risk Officer expertise 

  • Provision of expertise and counsel to ADS Branch and its projects to identify Risks, Issues and Opportunities which may influence the achievement of Branch, Program and Project objectives. 
  • Facilitate business, program and project risk identification, analysis, and review in accordance with the IPRMP. 
  • Facilitate controls assessment (level of effectiveness of specified controls in treating risk) against identified risks. 

Risk Management Plan 

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Integrated Program Risk Management Plan (IPRMP) to ensure alignment with current CASG Risk Management guidance and policy." 

Reporting 

  • Delivery of routine and ad hoc reports and presentations for Divisional, Branch, Program and Project. 
  • Support for audit schedule and compliance Reporting. 

Risk Data Management 

  • Maintain and remediate the data integrity within the risk registers on the DPN (Predict!) and DSN. 

Ongoing Evaluation and Analysis 

  • Review and validation of business and project risk registers, including joint registers with key stakeholders (where relevant). 

Monitoring & Review 

  • Coordinate and facilitate routine and ADHOC workshops for ADS Branch projects and functional directorates. 
  • Support reviews with external stakeholders (Industry partners / Capability Manager). 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Establish, maintain and nurture key internal and external stakeholder relationships (Capability Manager, Industry). 
  • Coordinate and integrate the risk discipline with other governance disciplines as required." 

Development 

  • Support mentoring and development of Branch personnel on Risk Management to build organisational capability and responsiveness. 
  • Provide support, training in Risk Management to Branch, program, and project staff as and when required 

Compliance and Assurance 

  • Ongoing verification that the ADS Branch Risk Management system maintains alignment with published CASG policy and process. 
  • Routine engagement with CASG Risk Management business function to maintain awareness of emergent CASG policy changes and implement changes where relevant. 

Audit and Control 

  • Liaison with internal and external auditors. 
  • Support ADS Branch and its projects’ Government Audit Schedule and Compliance Reporting.


Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing specific controls in Predict! 
  • 7+ years' experience in a similar role 
  • Ability to access or obtain access to DSN 


Required Security Clearance Level: NV1 or above 

Location: Brindabella Park ACT 

Weekly Hours: 40
