Amentum seeks a Government Compliance Financial Analyst responsible for serving as a liaison between the Defense Contract Audit Agency and various internal departments.  This requires interface with the appropriate recipient and review of the data response as well as coordinating delivery of the requested information to DCAA.  Other requirements include assisting in the analysis and application of regulatory requirements to specific factual situations and drafting well-written responses to government requests as needed. 

 

US Citizenship is required. This is a remote-telework role.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • DCAA Communication: Support and facilitate technical communications between DCAA auditors and the company, supporting seamless messaging and effective resolution of inquiries and requests.  

  • Data Coordination: Assist in collecting, understanding and organizing data requests as well as providing guidance and direction to internal teams for responding to routine and some non-routine DCAA requests.

  • Audit Engagement/ Collaboration: Participate in DCAA meetings to document, analyze and help clarify data requests, providing support to resolve potential audit findings and ensure successful audit outcomes.

  • Response Development: Prepare clear, accurate, technically sound responses to routine and select non-routine government data requests, ensuring they are customer-ready for management review & issuance.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation cost principles, with an ability to interpret regulations and apply them to specific situations.

  • Deadline Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work while maintaining a strong, favorable rapport with DCAA.

  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with DCAA auditors and compose professional memos and responses to audit positions.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with proven ability to work efficiently, with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members in carrying out assignments.

  • Compliance Assessment: Assist in evaluating and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point

  • Professional Development: Demonstrated commitment to self-development through on-the-job training or additional external training.

 

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related discipline.

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant accounting or financial compliance experience.

  • Prior experience in a government finance/compliance position with DCAA audit experience preferred.

  • FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) experience preferred.

  • US Citizenship is required.

 

Light Travel:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.

 

       

Compensation Details:

75K - 85K
