Amentum is seeking a Landscaper/Painter to join our team on 1st shift as a Landscape and painter General tech

team in Miami Lakes, FL! 

  • Typical work schedule is MonFriday, 5:30am – 2:00pm; hours may vary based on business demand.

  • Weekend hours may be scheduled to support our 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee to work as a landscaper, performing maintenance lawncare
  • The employee should be able to work with minimal supervision and accept guidance from experienced personnel
  • 3 years working as a landscaper
  • Must have the ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications and safety rules.
  • Strong understanding of components and repair techniques.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing and working in various conditions.
  • Proper use of hand and power tools and personal protective gear.
  • Adhering to safety protocols procedures and guidelines, company policy and procedures..
  • Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

 Performs tasks which require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience.
 
Digs, fills, and tamps earth excavations; levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake; shovels concrete and snow; cleans culverts and ditches; cuts trees and brush; operates power lawnmowers; gutter/roof cleaning.
 
 Moves and arranges heavy pieces of material, furniture, equipment, and appliances. Spreads sand and deicer on icy roads and walkways; picks up leaves and trash.
 
 Duties may include ground maintenance laborer tasks. May be assigned to assist in the spill response team May be required to obtain and maintain.


Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
