About the Opportunity

The Learning & Technology role is responsible for creating, owning, and continuously evolving a digital learning environment and future-focused academy that builds organisational capability, drives business performance, and supports sustainable growth. Reporting to the Head of Organisation & People, the role designs and delivers a scalable learning ecosystem that meets internal capability needs and has the potential to be developed as a commercially viable consultancy offering.

Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Digital Academy

  • Design and own the digital learning and academy strategy aligned to organisational priorities, capability needs, and growth objectives.

  • Create a future-focused learning ecosystem that supports performance, compliance, leadership, and technical capability.

  • Ensure the academy model is scalable, sustainable, and commercially viable.

Digital Learning Environment & Technology

  • Select, implement, and optimise learning technologies and platforms to deliver an engaging digital learning experience.

  • Ensure learning technology integrates effectively with people, capability, and performance frameworks.

  • Maintain governance, quality standards, and data integrity across learning systems.

Capability Development & Performance Enablement

  • Design learning pathways that support role capability, performance improvement, and career development.

  • Align learning solutions to business performance outcomes, contracts, and growth priorities.

  • Enable managers and capability leads to effectively use the learning environment to build capability.

Innovation, Commercialisation & Growth

  • Explore and develop opportunities to evolve the academy into a sellable consultancy or external offering.

  • Apply innovation, market insight, and continuous improvement to keep learning content and technology future-ready.

  • Ensure intellectual property, content quality, and delivery models support commercial viability.

Governance, Insight & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor learning effectiveness, adoption, and impact using data and insights.

  • Continuously improve learning content, platforms, and delivery models based on feedback and outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with organisational, regulatory, and quality requirements.
