Purpose and Impact:

Be a part of a team actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.

• Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.

• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.

• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.

• Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Must have experience in network or system administration.

• Strong Linux experience.

• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.

• Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.

• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance. Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI Poly

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.

• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related

Required Certifications:

• DoD 8570.1 compliant IAM Level I certification.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• JavaScript, React, experience migrating existing applications to newer technologies, experience working directly with customers to implement solutions for their processes.
