Maintenance Control Advisor/Deputy Site Lead

Amentum is hiring an O-Level Maintenance Control Advisor/Deputy Site Lead in Rota, Spain. Primary responsibility will be coordinating maintenance efforts required to meet MH-60R/S PMI turnaround time and support the daily flight schedule. Will function in a leadership role as a Deputy Site Lead/Program Manager providing leadership to both process and personnel. In addition, this role will also include significant customer interaction and making suggestions and instituting process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years current or previous experience performing complex helicopter mechanical work.

• Has 8 years current or previous experience in controlling daily aircraft maintenance in support of squadron operations on MH-60 R/S helicopters

• Maintain certification for Safe for Flight and has advised the customer on releasing aircraft safe for flight, assigned project/priority codes, recommended cannibalization actions, reviewed aircraft discrepancy books for recommending aircraft safe for flight, and meet established timeline goals for PMI, phase and special inspections.

• Able to follow drawings for integrated electronic systems and identify effects a change in one system will have on other systems and determine parts to be replaced or adjusted.  May include collateral duties as defined on COMNAVAIRFOR 4790.2 series Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, etc.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain United States Secret Security Clearance, NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain maintain US Secret Security Clearance.
