We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to join our project controls team. This role is essential for supporting cost engineering activities, analyzing project performance, and ensuring accurate financial and schedule reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost engineering, proficiency with project controls tools, and a solid understanding of earned value management principles. A Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) credential is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project cost control systems, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Monitor and report on project cost performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
Support the integration of cost and schedule data for accurate earned value analysis.
Prepare and deliver cost reports, cash flow projections, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of cost and schedule objectives.
Assist in change management processes, including cost impact assessments.
Maintain compliance with company standards and industry best practices for cost control and reporting.
Participate in project meetings and provide expert cost engineering insights.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in project controls with a focus on cost engineering.
Proficiency in cost management tools and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
CCE certification (Certified Cost Engineer) is a plus.
Experience with large-scale projects and integrated project controls systems is desirable.
Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000 - $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Compensation Details:
$75,000 - $95,000
