Role Title: Security Management Services

Role Description: Based out of the Collaborative and Autonomous Systems Project Office (CASPO) at RAAFBASE Amberley. This role operates within a multidisciplinary program team, providing expert guidance and assurance across cyber and protective security domains. Working under limited direction, the advisor will lead the development and coordination of security governance artefacts, support accreditation pathways, and contribute to the secure delivery of advanced aerospace capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the development and continuous improvement of cyber security assurance documentation, including:

o Cyberworthiness Plans

o Security Compliance Reports

o Accreditation support for airborne, ground, software, and classified systems

- Coordinate and contribute to security governance forums, including:

o Security Working Groups

o Crypto Working Groups

o Program Protection and Security Integration forums

- Develop and maintain protective security artefacts aligned with program and enterprise requirements:

o Program Protection Plans (PPP)

o Security Categorisation and Classification Guides (SCCG)

o Supply Chain Security Risk Management Plans (SCRMP)

o Program Security Orders (PSO)

o Vendor Risk Assessments (VRA)

Essential Requirements:

- IRAP Assessor accreditation or demonstrated experience conducting assessments aligned with the Information Security Manual (ISM)

- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in cyber security, with a focus on Defence or Government accreditation processes

- Proven ability to operate under limited direction, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment

- Demonstrated experience supporting security accreditation of complex systems (airborne, ground, software, classified networks)

- Understanding of Acquisition and Sustainment Procurement Reform, ERP, and National Defence Strategy (NDS) requirements

- Ability to assess and brief on risk related to contract development, supplier performance, and compliance

- Strong stakeholder engagement across technical, operational, and executive levels

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief risk and strategy

- Ability to interpret and manage communication flows, workflows, and resource priorities to meet business outcomes

- Timely coordination of activity progress updates from project stakeholders

- Ability to manage task delivery dependencies from ACS Branch and other enabling areas

Required Security Clearance Level: Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) Security Clearance

Location: RAAF Base Amberley (near Ipswich)

Weekly Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
