Amentum is seeking a Senior Counter Uncrewed Systems (C-UXS) Solutions Architect with 15+ years’ of systems engineering experience including 8+ years’ of relevant C-UXS experience to serve as an integral member of our C-UXS team. This key role will be positioned to make a significant impact on critical global security challenges. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member who can effectively work across all levels of Amentum, gathering information and producing critical content under deadlines. This candidate will drive technical solution design and author compelling technical solutions in response to RFP requirements. The candidate must be able to proactively engage with key Amentum, industry, and Government C-UXS stakeholders to include interviewing Subject-Matter Experts to develop and author technical solutions.
This position requires outstanding writing skills and ability to convey complex technical solutions and compliance information within the systems engineering domain space in a compelling, customer-focused format. The candidate must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in architecting, delivering, and supporting complex C-UXS solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a C-UXS technical architect and author across the pursuit lifecycle and within an integrated growth team, including operations, capture, and business development activities.
Provide expert technical writing capabilities in the development of technical artifacts, white papers, proposals, briefings, etc.
Work with teaming partners to develop technical solutions, integrating teaming partner capabilities.
Continuously identify and assess evolving C-UXS approaches and enabling technologies to drive solution innovation and improvements, ensuring proposed solutions are relevant for current and emerging trends.
Clearly conveying Amentum business and C-UXS technical requirements to audiences of varying technical skill levels.
Working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, completing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
15+ years of systems engineering experience including 8+ years of recent and relevant C-UXS experience focused on border, maritime, and airborne threats.
Significant experience deploying and fielding C-UXS systems.
Must be highly proficient with word-processing and integrated software applications.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at the primary corporate work location.
Up to 25% non-local travel may be required.
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline
DHS Systems Engineering Level III Certification
DHS Technical Program Manager Level I Certification
TS/SCI clearance
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $210,000-$215,000. Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
