Project: AT&T Nokia to Ericsson Swap and Multi-Carrier Addition
Description: Amentum is seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager to lead projects in the cellular
4G/5G domain. This role requires strong technical expertise in next-generation telecom networks,
combined with proven project management skills, to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of
telecom infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end delivery of 4G/5G telecom projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality
standards are met for the specific market.
• Effective Rollout Management: Ensure smooth rollout by managing logistics, resolving issues, and
monitoring schedules for both the swap and multi-carrier addition projects.
• Oversee network deployment activities, including site acquisition, installation, commissioning, and
integration of cellular infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and customer to ensure network deployment is delivered as
per the design.
• Lead network operations initiatives, manage escalations from customer, coordinate with internal
stake holders, JNOC and Market Directors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
during deployment and operations.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless rollout and
maintenance of telecom networks.
• Implement best practices for network resilience, scalability, and security.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in telecom project execution, leveraging advanced tools and
methodologies.
• Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor in relevant field of Engineering.
• Master’s in Management or relevant management certifications will be added advantage
• Optional : Project Management Certifications (PMP / SCRUM / Six Sigma etc).
• 10+ Years Experience in Telecom Projects, Operations, Planning, Design or Deployment with 3+
years in Management Profile, particularly in telecom infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Telecom Network & Engineering systems, cellular network architecture,
RF planning, optimization, and network deployment processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non-technical
teams.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
