Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Coordinator to join our Telecom Project Controls team. This position is essential for the successful execution of team initiatives across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial project activities, including management, processing, and review. They will ensure compliance with procurement policies, handle data processing, and play a key role in gathering, quality-checking, and uploading closeout deliverables. This role is crucial for maintaining project integrity and financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop and manage project plans, reports, and schedules.
2. Perform data entry, review, and process project forms and deliverable documents.
3. Maintain project trackers and third-party tracking databases.
4. Assist in data collection, validation, and ongoing maintenance/updates in various internal and third-party systems.
5. Manage project invoicing processes.
6. Serve as a liaison between National Project Accountants and Procurement
7. Participate in internal calls and provide administrative support as needed.
8. Act as the primary point of contact for project status communications to the project team.
9. Analyze data and create action items for team members based on project status.
10. Prepare and deliver project reports to project staff.
11. Collaborate with Accounting, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable teams on process improvements and efficiencies.
12. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
· 6+ years of experience in project management, project control, preferably in the telecom industry
· Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
· Experience with financial reporting systems is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
· Must be available to work during United States - day business time zones.
