Purpose and Impact: Amentum are seeking a Senior Maintenance Officer within their maintenance team who will overlook the trades and associated team members who are responsible for preventative/reactive maintenance, and minor project work on our customers housing portfolio.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will lead, support and mentor team members within the Maintenance teams with executing planned and scheduled work, defining and clarifying work scopes and administrative duties including submission of work orders, invoice approvals, whilst ensuring follow-up on work orders, safety and compliance across the team.
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 0730- 1600Hrs and Friday 0730-1330Hrs (38 hour week)
Essential Responsibilities:
Minimum Essential
Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of Facilities maintenance and operations, resource planning and personnel management
Exceptional customer service and written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Recognized time management skills, including an ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to lead by example, set standards for others to follow, and lead a team with exceptional customer service skills
Ability to work with a diverse set of customers and team members
Previous experience in an administrative role where customer service forms an integral part of successful performance
Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously

Experience in SAP
Experience using Microsoft Suite
Trade qualification in an appropriate building trade

Minimum Years of Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role planning and overseeing the execution of work schedules for a team.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
The Senior Maintenance Officer position combines an office-based environment with regular visits to properties throughout Alice Springs. Alice Springs has cold winters and hot summers so a variety of weather conditions can be experienced at the properties.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
It is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a NV-1/SECRET Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or SSBI (U.S.) clearance.
STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS
All personnel assigned to work at JDFPG shall be:
At least 18 years of age.
Able to fluently read, write and speak English
EHS REQUIREMENT
