We are seeking a Stationary Engineer for our client site in the Greater St. Louis area. The successful candidate will have the necessary skills to operate safely, and will be committed to working with others to deliver best in class excellence in customer service and satisfaction.
Typical work schedule for this role will be night shift, 7 on 7 off, Wed-Tues; 1730-0530
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $36.00 -$42.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

While in charge of the shift, the CUP Operator is responsible for:
Operating and maintaining the Central Utility Plant equipment and its systems for a large pharmaceutical facility.
Monitoring building automation systems to ensure proper, safe, and efficient operation of equipment, with the ability to adjust as necessary.
Identifying and correcting problems with the CUP equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, air compressors, highly purified water systems, clean steam, wastewater systems, and cooling towers.
Taking daily equipment logs, submitting reports as required to the chief engineer, and meeting local and state regulatory requirements.
Identifying problems and creating work orders for all equipment.
Coordination and oversight of subcontractor activities.
As a CUP Operator, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including:
Performing water treatment chemical analysis
Performing Preventative Maintenance tasks, and making building and CUP rounds.
Leading and/or assisting technicians where necessary in building support services and equipment repairs with the ability to read drawings, prints, and technical manuals with understanding.
Working in electronic CMMS and Johnson Controls BAS.
Performing other duties as assigned by Management or Lead.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
Five years of experience as an industrial HVAC or industrial mechanical maintenance technician, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail, good comprehensive and analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
Must be a United States citizen or Permanent resident.

Some physical/special requirements include:
Regularly lift to 50 lbs
Regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding
Repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement.
Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions
Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding
Special Requirements:
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
City of St. Louis Stationary Engineer license, Class I.
Proficient with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience working with HPSI steam boilers and associated equipment.
Training or experience in Johnson Controls Metasys building automation systems (BAS).
Experience working in a CMMS environment. (SAP, Maximo, EAMS, etc.)
Experience leading or supervising a multi-skilled technical workforce.
Experience working with complex electrical and mechanical building equipment.
