We are currently seeking a Surveyor to support our Spent Fuel Handling Project (SFHP).
Job duties include but aren't limited to:
Construction staking, layout, and grade verification activities
Operate and maintain survey equipment including 3D LIDAR, GPS receivers, total stations, levels, and data collectors
Collect, record, and process field survey data accurately
Support the establishment and verification of survey control points and benchmarks
Assist with topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys
Perform field calculations and data checks to ensure accuracy
Maintain survey records, notes, and project documentation
Coordinate with construction crews, engineers, and project management teams
Follow company safety procedures and project-specific requirements.
Help troubleshoot survey discrepancies and report findings to senior survey staff
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
5 plus years of surveying or construction experience
Competent understanding of surveying principles and construction layout
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong math and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Must be able to how proof of US citizenship (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree, technical certificate, or coursework in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
Experience using Trimble, Leica, or Topcon survey equipment
Familiarity with 3D LIDAR, GPS, RTK, robotic total stations, and digital levels
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or survey processing software
Understanding of coordinate systems, elevations, and construction tolerances
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation Details:
$100,000 - $120,000
