Amentum is seeking a Task Order Manager for the Space Force Range Contract  

Typical Duties

  • Creates and implements task definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for multiple tasks of moderate complexity. Participate in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to task order management policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the staffing of tasks. Organizes tasks team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives. 
  • Manages budgets, schedules, and task deliverables to ensure contractual objectives are met. 
  • Performs ongoing review of task status; identifies possible project risks. Recommend and implement risk mitigation solutions. 
  • Works in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the task. Provides input on project status.
  • Manages client, company, and project team expectations for project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics. Recommends changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics.
  • Overseas personnel assigned for tasks. Assigns work and provides direction regarding timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input upon completion of project.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in task order or project management
  • Experience working with project management methodology such as Catalyst including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices
  • Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
  • Experience working with delivery assurance principles and procedures 
  • Experience working with techniques and approaches related to architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Salary and Other Compensation

  • The annual starting salary for this position is between $85,000-$110,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Compensation Details:

$85,000 - $110,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
