Administrative Support Analyst

Amentum is currently seeking an Administrative Support Analyst to support the AUTEC program, Andros Island, Bahamas. In this position you will be a liaison to internal and external contacts in a manner that promotes the professional image of the Company. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine to advanced administrative tasks in support of the daily operations of the department.

  • This role will interface and work directly with the customer, providing administrative and operational support to the program lead.

  • Supports an organization or department by performing administrative services.

  • Assists management with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest.

  • Prepares various reports detailing the administrative information handled by the position.

  • Reads and answers correspondence.

  • Types correspondence in draft and final copy.

  • Employs basic principles of English composition and grammar in preparing correspondence.

  • Proofreads typed documents against source documents.

  • Assembles final product for review, authentication, or other disposition.

  • Prepares registered or certified mail for dispatch.

  • Opens, sorts, routes, and delivers incoming correspondence and messages.

  • Prepares suspense control documents and maintain suspense files.

  • Signs receipt for and picks up registered and certified mail.

  • Dates and dispatches outgoing correspondence and messages.

  • Prepares and maintains functional office files.

  • Handle sensitive or confidential information.

  • Train lower-level administrative support analysts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of relevant experience in an Administrative Support role. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Strong knowledge in MS Office Suite.

  • Knowledgeable in MS SharePoint.

  • Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.

  • A valid U.S. Passport and Driver's License is required.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

  • 5 years of prior experience.
