The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

Serve as a Project Manager within the Project Management Office (PMO) under the Ground Project Management group (D2410) - working on COMET Change Requests (CCR) and Engineering Service Requests (ESR).

- Provide Project Management oversight and assist in all aspects of projects.

- Provide oversight and assist with the management of project scope, risks, budgets and schedule changes.

- Provide oversight when assigned the responsibilities of establishing new project teams in support of COMET identified requirements

focusing on ensuring project management standardization and resourcing across the COMET Project Portfolio.

- Demonstrate ability to lead matrixed, cross functional teams.

- Demonstrate understanding of project scheduling development and resource loading to capture all work performed in executing the

project life-cycle.

- Provide Project Management oversight and assist with the preparation of project artifacts to include, but not limited to project

planning, project status reports, project briefs, cost reporting, variances, forecasting, metrics, etc.

- Host/facilitate project team meetings.

- Coordinate project assessments and generate necessary Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and informal ROMs (iROM).

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution; at least four years of experience.

Prefer candidate with a PMP certification.
