Role Title: Certification Engineer
Role Description:
Contracting an embedded Certification Engineer (CE) is critical to the CMATS delivery strategy and achieving ICT accreditation in time for System Acceptance. The CEs provide the Certification Assessment, Report and Brief that informs each ICT Accreditation decision. A series of Certification and Accreditation cycles are required for CMATS as demonstrated by the ICTSB Provisional Accreditation of Rz being granted for only 6 months and directing a series of further Certification assessments. These are necessary for authorising network connections for the integration environment and CMATS sites across Airservices and Defence locations. The ongoing Accreditation activity is also necessary to support the ongoing agile release train favoured by the Contractor and to assure that remediation progress is tracked through to completion.
Essential Requirements:
• Two or more of the following Certifications:
o Certified Industry System Security Professional (CISSP)
o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
o ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
o Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
o Global Information Assurance Certification Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Recent experience in security assessments of ICT systems
• Detailed understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF)
• Experience in ICT Security Risk Management and methodologies.
• Experience working with Defence ICT certification bodies such as DDG and ASD
• Eligible to access US Export Controlled (ITAR) information
Desirable Requirements:
• Endorsed IRAP Assessor (desirable but not 100% mandatory)
