Primary duties for the Combustion Devices Engineer:

• Lead the development for software automation technology for a liquid injector design workflow to support injector performance and geometry modeling, reduce injector design time, and increase design iteration efficiency.
• Apply this technology to design permeable injector faceplates.
• Programming original functions and routines for MatLab, Python, and Excel.
• Collaborate with other engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Document and deliver results with recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational requirement is enrollment in a university or college program leading to a BS degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or related engineering field. Degree program from an ABET accredited university preferred.

Requirements:

• Strong MatLab and Python Programming skills required.
• Knowledge of FORTRAN and Excel VBA desired.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Products.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Good organizational skills and time management.
• Able to work in a team environment.
