**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT FUNDING**

Amentum is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician / Software Tester to join our Portsmouth, Virginia team. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, debugging, integration, and implementation of systems in support of the Warfighter.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Debug and test application code.

• Coordinate with the development team.

• Construct test cases.

• Assist with software documentation

• Use aptitude to learn new technical tools required for the role.

• Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Active Secret Clearance.

• Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret US Government Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Three (3) years of recent and relevant software testing experience.

• Ability to travel as required.

• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Security+ CE certification 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000+ (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
