The successful candidate will join Resource Integration Office (RIO) in supporting the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) located at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC). While the majority of work is directly in support of LaRC, other industry partners and Government agencies may be supported at remote sites as directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). All work will be performed with a high standard of quality and professionalism All safety policies and procedures must be followed.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development and generation of internal and external financial reporting to support government requirements
- Involves cost, budget and forecasting at the contract statement of work and NASA organizational levels
- Collaborate with managers, directors, and the general manager to develop a cost budget for a government fiscal year
- Provides project level reporting for specific taskings under the contract
U.S. Citizenship required. The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance is required. BS degree in a relative field with five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in government contracting and/or administration work. MS Degree with two (2) to three (3) years of relative experience or PhD. with zero (0) to one (1) year of experience. Additional relevant education or certifications may be substituted for experience such as a Contract Administration Certificate.
- E xcellent communication and organizational methods
- Ability to utilize EXCEL, including pivot tables and formula generation
- Ability to use and create PowerPoint charts
- Analytical capability to review cost information and provide guidance on forecasting based on actual cost information
- Understanding of overhead rates and applications
- Familiarity with cost systems and data
- Understanding the basis of estimate concepts
- Experience using JAMIS and MAXIMO is preferred
- Familiarity with 533 Financials (NASA) and DRDs (deliverables)
Essential FunctionsWork Environment:Office environment (90%).
Travel between various facilities is required and may bring exposure to loud noise and potentially hazardous equipment operation (10%).
Physical Requirements:Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and sit for extended periods as well as climb, crawl, and lift up to 35 lbs.
May be exposed to areas of high noise levels (15%)

Safety and personal protective equipment (20%)
Attendance:Regular attendance mandatory (100%)
Overtime/work outside normal schedule required (5%)

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety/risk hazard to the employee or others. The work environment requires the ability to cooperate and work with individuals at all levels of the company and the client. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
