Amentum is looking for a talented Contract Administrator to join our team. This position requires self-motivation, a drive to help the team succeed, and can be supported via telework.

As a Contract Administrator, you will:

  • Support contract administration, procurement, and pricing functions during the pre-award, award, and post-award phases of the procurement process.
  • Coordinate, develop and produce a wide range of procurement documentation to include correspondence, negotiations, contract close-out, file maintenance, and interaction with multiple technical contract managers and external customers. 
  • Perform basic contract negotiations to include direct interface with contracting officers; negotiate teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements with new business/teaming partners.
  • Review contract documents and correspondence as part of the analysis of government solicitations.
  • Review and coordinate contract modification approvals and contract change proposals with program and other COE personnel.
  • Monitor the status of current assigned contracts.
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of major contracts.
  • Monitor company performance in conformance to original proposal and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Associates degree from an accredited university AND 7+ years' recent experience as private-sector Contract Administrator supporting federal government customer OR Bachelors degree AND 5+ years’ recent experience OR 3+ years of experience with Masters degree.
  • Experience in a large, complex multifaceted environment.
  • Strong working experience negotiating contracts.
  • Comprehensive understanding of solicitations, bid analysis/process coupled with solid proposal preparation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Experience with one or more of these contract types: CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ.
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe proficiency.
  • Ability to travel for onsite meetings as required. (Less than 10%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with defense industry & regulations.
  • IDIQ contract support experience in a PMO environment.
  • Knowledge of the FAR and DFAR regulations.
