Amentum is seeking an EMC RF Engineer to perform Test, Evaluation, Integration, and configuration of C5ISR systems.

EMC RF Engineer Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing detailed EMI/EMC test plans

  • Participating in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews

  • Perform EMI/EMC testing gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data

  • Prepare and publish detailed EMI/EMC test reports

  • Review technical documentation and technical meeting support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an electrical engineering with an RF focus or Physics with an emphasis in electromagnetic interference (EMI), electric field propagation, and/or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). 

  • Demonstrated experience in theoretical and practical aspects of research, development, test, engineering, or integration of Navy RF sensors and systems and with one or more of the following topside areas: E3; EMI/EMC testing; EMI problem investigation; Spectrum; EMI/EMC analysis and assessment; EMI Control and Mitigation; MATLAB programming; proficiency in use of RF equipment (spectrum analyzer, real-time spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, etc.).

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
