About the opportunityWe are looking for a GDO HR Regional Advisor (UK), for a fixed term of 12 months during a period of significant transition and change within both the business and the HR function.
You will provide a wide range of HR administrative support to the business and the wider HR function, working closely with the GDO and HR Operational teams across the UK and Poland. You will also play a supporting role in the development of regional HR processes during our transitional period to ensure we continue to deliver a first-class service to the business.
This role will be based in Glasgow and will report to the GDO HR Regional Manager (UK).
Accountabilities: - Handle general HR enquiries from employees and managers through ServiceNow.
- Support with escalated cases from our UK Employee Lifecycle team, taking ownership of the resolution of more complex cases.
- Understanding requirements for escalating issues to the HR Operational Teams, ensuring all key information is captured and communicated effectively.
- Actively working alongside the GDO Regional Manager to examine case trends, highlight new or recurring issues and develop resolutions.
- Challenging processes and behaviours and identifying improvements to our ways of working, working collaboratively with colleagues to offer and deliver recommendations for enhancing efficiency.
- Supporting the review, update and development of our regional process documentation.
- Actively support the GDO and HR team in contributing to projects as directed.
- Timely processing of employee lifecycle changes, liaising with Payroll and other internal departments in line with Company procedures.
- Maintaining the HR database (Oracle)
- Providing adhoc support to the People Operations Partner team on regional activities.
- Producing standard and ad hoc reports
You will be responsible for prioritisation and management of a busy workload to tight deadlines.
