Shift: Shift work is required to support 24×7 operations.
• It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required including nights, weekends, and holidays on a modified Panama schedule, and can remain on-site for extended periods during emergencies and drills.
Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time
Our NORAD Operations Group
Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided:
• Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space.
• Mitigation of orbital conflicts.
• Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities.
• Operations and maintenance of classified communications.
• Software development and integration.
NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at:
• Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado
• Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado
• Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
• Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
• Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world
Description of Duties:
The Help Desk Analyst II supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
• Facilitate the excellent relationship between Government active duty/civilian customers and our contractor team.
• Use Remedy and similar management tools to complete and assign trouble tickets for network, PC, laptop, KVM, printer, and other IT issues.
• Initiate responses, tracking, updating, reviewing, and concluding actions in Remedy.
• Manually handle, review and edit messages, turning on/off intercepts and equipment.
• Monitor recalling and servicing messages, as well as monitoring systems to maintain continuous system availability.
• Perform log analysis; error detection; fault correction; data line alternate routing; message intercept and retrieval.
• Perform startups, reboots, server swaps, and shutdown of the systems.
• Report job status to MDC leaders.
• Support the customer's annual exercises, planned monthly relocations, and unplanned real-world events.
• Perform other duties as required to support the 21CS mission.

• Have technical skills as well as communication skills to enable effective dialogue between internal and external customers, at all levels.

Basic Requirements:
• Must have at least 1 year of direct experience.
• Must have at least 2 years of general work history.
• Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must have experience with client peripherals including KVMs, card readers, monitors, servers, and printers.
• Must be able to complete training and receive MDC crew qualification within 60 Days.
• Must have experience handling and protecting highly classified information, data, and systems.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts as required, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to remain on site for extended periods during emergencies and operations readiness exercises (drills).
• Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Requirements:
• Have experience with DoD cryptographic equipment and related material handling and use.
• Have experience with troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and Operating systems, including Solaris, Unix, and/or Linux.
• Have experience with Department of Defense messaging and messaging systems.
• Have experience in a high-visibility, mission-focused environment where systems availability is closely monitored and prioritized.
• Have a current IAT Level II certification (eg Security+ CE)
This position is expected to pay $68,000 - $70,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
