Amentum is seeking an IT Operations Manager for a contract located in either the Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL area. This is a hybrid role which requires you to be located in one of these areas. You have excellent communication, time management, and detail-oriented skills, which you’ll put to use overseeing and managing the end-to-end delivery of IT service and projects for operations, ensuring its alignment with ITIL approaches.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of IT service and projects for operations and ensures end-to-end delivery of services based on Government-approved ITSM processes.
Leads the analysis, planning, and implementation of ITSM initiatives in support of operations and ensure its alignment with ITIL approaches.
Identifies IT operational requirements
Provides day-to-day leadership and quality control
Provides expertise to continually improve the implementation of ITIL practices with the goal of exceeding performance objectives and reducing costs and schedule.
Ensures all devices and systems are configured and have installed the latest patches to meet all cybersecurity and operational requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in managing Enterprise IT operations that’s supported a large user base of 40,000+ users, including implementation of ITIL standards and principles
Current ITIL® V4 Foundation Level Certification
Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITIL® V4 Strategic Leader Level Certification
Possesses a current certification in accordance with the DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) at the Advanced level (such as CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCISO)
At least 5 years of experience managing the device configuration and patch management for a large-scale Enterprise IT operation that’s supported a large user base of 40,000+ users
Work Environment:
This position is performed in a traditional office environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Hiring salary range is $180,000 - $220,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
