Essential Functions:

• Report to work in a fit for duty and ready to work condition daily.
• Inspect PPE and safety equipment prior to use, and report any PPE or equipment in a broken, worn, or not ready for use status.
• Immediately report any injury or incident to a supervisor regardless of significance.
• Participate in safety initiatives like observations, near misses, and safety committees.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. Correct any unsafe actions or conditions immediately. Assist management with incident investigation to determine root cause.
• Train employees in different areas of inspected product.
• Communicate Level of Effort and production rate to all inspectors.
• Understand and participate in the 10-day challenge process.
• Manage receiving doors to ensure a processing flow of product is maintained to all processing areas to obtain the LOE goal. 
• Identify and Communicate workflow issues, such as one area running out of work, to management. Assist with the reassigning of personnel to maximize the level of effort.
• Assist in directing employees to problem areas as needed.
• Assist in communicating policy/procedures with found mail. Ensure compliance.
• Ensure proper operational condition of equipment used to process product. For example, labelers, stackers, houses, stretch wrap machines and banders.
• Work with the customer as required.
• Understand established departmental goals and objectives to maximize customer satisfaction. For example, auditing the inspectors.
• Assist with cross training employees.
• Ensure all communications are done in in a timely manner and are clear and accurate.
• Condemned section weighing, making sure the amount in the boxes is correct. Placards are being generated and placed onto the boxes for the baler.
• Use product-driven thinking to ensure the inspectors’ bins remain full.
• Ensure placards are being generated in accordance with company guidelines to assure the efficiency and accuracy per EIRS pallets and inspectors.
• Maintain effective communication with all management.
• Must be able to deal with all levels of management and personnel from departments throughout the plant.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lead employees and work with supervisor to hold them accountable
