Role Title: Materiel Logistics Officer

Role Description:
We are seeking a capable and organised Defence experienced Materiel Logistics Officer to support multiple systems across a key program. The role sits within a technical and commercially focused sustainment environment responsible for ensuring systems, equipment and infrastructure remain reliable, safe and fully operational in support of Navy capability. 

You will work closely with engineering, commercial and contract management teams; providing disciplined logistics governance, assurance and reporting. The role demands accuracy, sound judgment and the ability to coordinate across Defence, industry partners and Commonwealth stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review operational S&Qs, liaise with stakeholders and contractors to firm up activity and draft paperwork as required for the Sustainment Manager to review and process and update commercial/sustainment governance tools accordingly.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders in relation to operational tasks and queries.
• Liaise with Commonwealth Contract Managers on operational matters that have commercial implications.
• Collate, review and input data and OQE for monthly reporting.
• Review and liaise with contractors to validate End of Month (EOM) delivery data and operations reporting.
• Administer and facilitate Commonwealth reviews across multiple contracts; including remediating and updating governance tools.
• Facilitate Commonwealth meetings and workshops for performance management across all contracts, particularly in preparation for Contract Status Reports/Review meetings.
• Review and validate performance of S&Q requirements for operations across all contracts.
• Perform supply and sustainment governance and assurance functions as directed.

Essential Requirements:
• Experience in Defence logistics, particularly in a maritime environment
• Proven ability to validate data, manage documentation and maintain governance tools
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Defence reporting and governance systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills; including the ability to work with contractors and Senior Commonwealth stakeholders.

Required Security Clearance Level: Negative Vetting One (NV1)
