IRES is seeking a skilled and motivated Earned Value Scheduler to join our growing team. You will work under the guidance of senior schedulers and project managers to ensure projects are accurately tracked and reported on. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to expand their knowledge of EVM and contribute to the success of complex projects within Information Technology.
Description of Duties:
The Mid-Level Earned Value Scheduler supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Develop, baseline, maintain, and update integrated project schedules utilizing earned value management (EVM) techniques, including critical path analysis, resource loading, and cost integration.
• Assist the CAMs in analyzing schedule performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and communicating findings to project stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
• Prepare and present monthly reports that focus on tracking and managing the schedule itself, providing visual representations of tasks, dependencies, milestones, and critical path
• Perform "what-if" scenario analysis to assess the impact of potential changes on the project schedule and budget.
• Ensure schedule integrity and compliance with company policies, industry best practices, and relevant government regulations (e.g., ANSI/EIA-748).
• Provide guidance and training to project team members on scheduling principles, EVM methodologies, and scheduling software.
• Participate in project reviews and audits to demonstrate schedule accuracy and adherence to EVM principles.
• Continuously improve scheduling processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete project documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices within the organization.

Basic Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience.
• Must have 3, or more, years of experience in project scheduling.
• Must be familiar with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
• Must have an understanding of scheduling principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource loading.
• Must have exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
• Have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Have an Earned Value Professional (EVP) certification.
• Have experience in Information Technology is a plus.
• Be familiar with Agile methodologies.
This position is expected to pay $85,000 - $125,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
