Your Impact: This position with Amentum supports the United States Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) J2 Directorate. Your analysis and assessment will be vital to the decision making of senior leaders. You will witness the impact of your analysis indirectly on the battlefield and through strategic decisions made by our leaders throughout the Intelligence Community.



Responsibilities: The employee is responsible for conducting all-source Intelligence analysis and producing intelligence products in support of global missions and customers. The analyst applies analytic tradecraft standards to conduct research using a variety of databases and toolsets, compile and analyze complex data, and develop assessments in support of the team’s mission. The employee shall provide personnel with skills and knowledge to support the J2 Directorate, to include, in some cases, 24/7 shift work for situational awareness and warning. Contractor personnel shall have and maintain the ability to conduct all-source analysis of the USSOCCENT Areas of Interest (AOI) (as defined by the Unified Command Plan). All-Source contract personnel shall have and maintain the ability to gather and analyze information, and provide recommendations necessary for the Government to produce, disseminate, and apply intelligence products in the following subject areas; Analysis, Production, Application and Dissemination - Current and Term, Daily Production, Graphics and Visual Information, Write for Release, Current Intelligence Support, Political/Military, Terrorism, Cyberspace, Human Terrain/Socio-Cultural, Geospatial Intelligence, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Energy/Environmental, Ballistic Missiles, Compromise Mitigation Support, Open-Source, Order of Battle, Target Intelligence Analysis, Target Materials Analysis, and Target Discovery and Network/Systems.

Requirements:

− Minimum of 8 years of experience as an intelligence analyst within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies is required with four (4) years at the operational level.

− Proficiency, knowledge, understanding, and experience with current intelligence analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends.

− Demonstrate expert proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of intelligence tools.

− Demonstrate experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) / GS-14 level or higher.

− Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and established SIGINT related databases to support analytical efforts and product development.

− Strong briefing, reporting, and writing skills.

− A high level of proficiency with National Security Agency (NSA) and other SIGINT analytical databases covering both Dial Network Recognition (DNR) and Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) related technologies.

− Strong background and firsthand experience are required in SIGINT analysis, SIGINT systems, tools, and databases, reporting and collection management.

− Acute knowledge of SOF and or CT/counter proliferation intelligence experience is highly desirable.
