The Mission Support Logistician will maintain supply inventory of equipment and consumables in support of TO JULIET training program and its customers.  Responsible for conducting & performing operator maintenance on assigned CBRN presumptive detection equipment. This will include conducting equipment calibrations, operational checks, software updates, preparing and packaging equipment and material for shipment as required. Coordination and communication with equipment vendors and suppliers to ensure procurement processes are followed as directed. Generate purchase requests and purchase orders in support of program requirements. Assist training cadre in preparation and execution of training courses on CBRN hazards and threats, Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE), decontamination operations; CBRN sensitive site exploitation and Technical Collection & Exploitation Operations.

The Mission Support Logistician supports the Program Manager in the management of task execution, schedule, costs, and vendor activities to meet contract or task order requirements and provides on-site administrative and logistical support for all training and exercise activities. The Mission Support Logistician coordinates part-time instructor and subject matter expert (SME) support and assists instructors in generating all program deliverables. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Clearance

  • Current Top Secret/SCI (CI-poly eligible) Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship Required

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience managing and maintaining equipment inventories and supplies in support of military operations.  Capable of multi-tasking; working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Operate software programs designed specifically to manage logistical functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and other supply chain planning.
  • Instructional experience in training personnel, groups and organizations. 
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office suite and applications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required federal government background check/investigation
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

Highly Desired Skills and Experience

Communication

  • Computer – M.S. Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Content Management Systems, SharePoint, MS Teams, and virtual team collaboration editing
  • Basic Writing – Ability to use correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary, clarity, brevity, engagement, proofreading, and revising
  • Business / Professional Writing – Ability to formulate analytical report writing, note-taking, email writing, meeting invitations, M.S. Office, business case writing
  • Presentation Writing – PowerPoint, creativity, brevity, and curriculum materials

Time Management

  • Ability to function at a high level with little oversight as well as work as part of a larger team to complete mission objectives
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines and managing tasks through successful completion

Travel Requirements

Travel

  • CONUS-based; willing to travel CONUS up to 25%
  • Willing to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends as required to support US-based training events
